The Launceston Historical Society, in conjunction with the Launceston General Hospital Historical Committee, presents the Ninth Pugh Day Lecture featuring Professor Alicia Dennis.
The title of the lecture: THE ROLE OF ANAESTHETISTS IN SAFE CHILDBIRTH IN AUSTRALIA – from pioneers to present day.
To be held in the Meeting Room at QV Mag Museum at Inveresk on Sunday 20th June at 2:00pm.

Alicia Dennis, Professor in the School of Medicine, Deakin University, holds honorary appointments at the University of Melbourne and is a staff specialist anaesthetist and Director of Anaesthesia Research at The Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne.
