Talkback Lounge’s Vicki caught up with Jodie Johnson from the Kings Meadow’s located, Launceston’s YMCA.

Jodie Johnson talks about the wide-ranging programs the Launceston YMCA runs to support people looking for social connection and something fun to do!  There’s so much to experience, from rock climbing to gentle exercises!

Launceston’s YMCA is offering a stack of  interactive programs including, mum’s and bubs fitness, gentle exercises on Wednesdays, school holiday programs and chat and play for young mums. Jodie says, “we want people to come along, interact and socialise and make friends and for just $5, which includes coffee and cake!”

The centre has been newly renovated and improved with lots of natural light and new rooms.  Membership is very reasonable at just $15, which gets a heap of discounts on services.  Come and check them out at 8A Blaydon Street, Kings meadows, www.ymcalaunceston.org/pages – or listen to Vicki’s interview below!
