Production Assistant

Description:
We are currently looking for a production assistant to support the technical manager and programme manager. This position involves preparing the automation system, announcing promotional messages and downloading relevant program material. General office duties may also be required. The applicant should be highly organised, motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. This is a part time position – 12 hours over three days – Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Requirements:
• Competent computer skills desired but not essential, including any experience using a networking based system involving file management
• A positive and dynamic personality
• Self starter who is willing to learn
• Support of WayFM, its vision and goals.

Announcers

Description:
We are currently looking for radio announcers for our breakfast, drive, daytime and weekend programs. This position requires someone who predominantly has an excellent speaking voice and manner and can deliver a radio program independently while managing the broadcasting radio equipment. Depending on the applicants availability, working hours will vary for each position – 6-10am breakfast, 10-4 daytime, 4-7pm drive, 5-8pm Saturdays, 2-5pm Sundays. shifts  The applicant must have a positive, dynamic and vibrant personality and have the ability to intelligently ‘ad lib’ whilst on air.

Requirements:
• Radio announcing experience preferred, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
