Overview
WayFM is a Christian, not-for-profit, community radio station that broadcasts
24 hours a day, seven days a week across Launceston and the greater
Northern Tasmania region stretching as far as Burnie and surrounding areas,
Scottsdale and towards the East Coast.
We exist because we believe that everybody should have the opportunity
to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
"Whatever people are like, I try to find common ground with them so that
they will let me tell them about Christ and let Christ save them".

Our aim is to meet our community where they are at – in their cars,
in their homes, on their ipods – and share Jesus’ love through the music
we play and through our various programs.
Our tagline ‘on the right track’ plays on the concept of the right music track,
but deeper than this, our vision is to see our listeners
get on the right track in life - the track that ultimately leads to eternity with Christ.
WayFM is not affiliated with any particular denomination so we are a “pre-evangelism”
vehicle for connecting with people who might not necessarily attend a church
but who are searching for life’s answers.
We strive to encourage and uphold family ideals and Christian values that
are worthwhile to the whole community.
